Mary Collins School at Cherry Valley is a Public Charter school for grades K-8 in the Petaluma school district, organized around two learning hubs: Visual and Performing Arts and Environmental Education. Our school calendar is a modified 45-15 schedule with three week breaks in Fall, Winter, and Spring. We have multi-age classrooms to encourage supportive, constructivist learning. The grade levels are K/1, 2/3, 4/5, 6, 7/8. Our K-5 classrooms are arranged in a cluster environment. Our 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students change periods (middle school model) and attend multi-age classes with students from the 6th-8th grades.
